Jas had a haircut this morning and he now looks so grown up,still cost me $13 though,such a rip!.
Granny anne has sent a sweet cardi for billy,she say's she is abit rusty after not knitting for afew years but I say,it is perfect.Thankyou.I hope you and rob are having a wonderful time in Israel.

Well,we have had a fairly lazy and quiet few days.Being only 3-and-a-half weeks untill our Billy graces us with his presence,so,we have been just getting the baby's nursery ready and feel pretty organised now.
On Thursday i had to take Jasper to the doctor's as once again he is constipated!,poor kid has had this since he was a little baby but,it has gotten bad again.Anyway,because jas was so well behaved...touch wood!...I treated the squirts to mcdonalds and they had fun in the playground.
Friday was pissing down with rain so we had one of those lovely days of staying in our pj's,eating popcorn and watching dvds
This weekend we went up to the salvation store in port kennedy and scored afew bargains,lots of tiny baby essentials eg wraps,linen,blankets etc,it was fun and exciting shopping for a little baby again and it is definately the last time i will be doing it,unless ofcourse it's for other peoples babys!.
Jasper has been in destroy mode for the last few day's,ripping books up,getting into my cds!!Grrrrrrr!,you name it and jasper is into it,it's exhausting.The good news is,he does seem to be slowly coming out of his "late"terrible-twos phase and starting to resemble our sweet-natured little boy again.Unfortunately Ruby has now entered the 'terrible-twos' and her favorite word is "NO!" and she can be moody,but then,so can her mummy!.She is going well with the toilet training though and most of the time is a delight to have around.

Grumpy!

This morning I was running very fast and I collided into my sister,we both cryed LOUDLY but I cryed the loudest.Then my friends Jack and Karley and their mum,Jennilee,arrived to play(they are kiwis too)But I was still very grumpy and tired and wasn't much fun to be around.I did like jack's scooter alot,it had race cars on it,but i got grumpy with that too because i did not know how to use it-then i kept trying to jump on the side of the sandpit and falling over-very frustrating!.I had a bump over my eye and a scratch on my face from my collision and was in bad shape really.Mummy said to me "you ARE having a sleep today!"and I could see she meant it!.
mum made us pikelets for lunch and then i went for a huge sleep.I guess I MUST have been tired!.
When dad got home we all played ball in the backyard,which I loved,my dad rocks!.

What did you do today ruby?

Well,after a horrible crash on the head with my brother I was very grumpy but then my friends Jack + Karley arrived and I was abit better.I played on my swing,and rode my bike.After I had a big sleep and woke up much brighter.I helped mummy hang the washing up,played in the tent,picked flowers,practised my counting 1-4-6!,and watched cartoons untill my daddy got home and then I had fun running around playing ball with dad and Jasser(this is Ruby's way of pronouncing jasper.)phew!.

An active three-year-old

This morning i climbed sanddunes at the beach which was good fun,mummy thought she would exhaust me enough so that i would need a sleep...silly mum was wrong!.
Instead of sleeping when we got home I made a jungle in my sandpit,out of the backyard potplants!,mummy thought it a much better idea to put my tent up in"the jungle",and make it my own little hidey-hole,what fun!

chocolate stars

We went to the beach this morning,i did not like it very much as the water was very close to me and it was hard to walk on the bumpy sand,i even tryed to climb back up the stairs.I liked afterwards though when we got to run up the hills on the way back to the car.

I had a big sleep when we got home,yey.

Tonight my daddy was singing "twinkle twinkle little star" and i told him "no,CHOCOLATE star".

A superhero kind of day

I had a very busy day today but I still refused to have my afternoon sleep which is driving mum mad.Anyway,we went and ran around a nature trail in Baldivis...i ran fast,and liked going off the trail alot and inspecting everything,we stopped to look at a big ant which daddy said could be a "bull ant"and which mum said was"the biggest ant she had ever seen"and then i put my foot on it and squashed it and announced it "squashed ant",after that mum said she was sure glad i had shoes on!.

We had yummy apples and egg sandwiches for lunch at the playground which i kept dropping in the sand"yuk!",I also found a fat stick on the ground which i tryed to use like a didgareedo.

After refusing my sleep once back home,I helped daddy rake up the grass in the backyard,I put all the grass in my big dumptruck and took it to dad and he threw it over the fence.Dad said as a reward for helping him i could have chocolate pudding for desert,YUM.

We went to a forest

Today we went for a big walk in a forest,it was lots of fun running after my brother,even if i did get abit puffed toward the end.Then we found a playground,yey!I liked daddy catching me on the big slide and then riding on his shoulders.

I am very proud of myself now as I am potty trained and only wear those yukky nappies at nightime...yesterday we went to a school fete and i went on the big toilet there...golly,so many things to learn when your just two!

Goodnight...sweetdreams

Our little girl slept in her own big bed for the very first time tonight.Ruby was so excited and looked so proud of herself.After a couple of times of getting up she did finally settle and go to sleep.She is not our baby anymore,which is hard for her dad and I as we are always calling her "bubs".Soon she will be a big sister!.

Rose had to work at the last minute so we had ethan come and play allday and the kids all had such fun together.On the bikes,with playdough,and dress-ups aswell as pretending to be superheroes(see the fist in the air action in photos).A good but exhausting day.

Birthday wishes

The kids went and hung out with their aunty Rose this afternoon,it is her 33rd birthday today,she was having a quiet one...well,as quiet as one can expect with five kids!.She must have a very well trained ear as I find it tricky to keep up as all five tell me excitedly about their day,i did get out of it that my oldest nephew Liam has cut his foot open and had to get 7 stitches...or was it 4 stitches??

Any excuse for a party..

Jasper has got a thing about birthday parties at the moment,so we held a small impromptu party today,making a cake with playdough aswell as playdough cupcakes,I even sung happy birthday to him...jasper had a lovely grin on his face and that makes me happy.

practise run

Went to meet a friends new baby today,little kory nicholas..felt abit strange to be holding a tiny bub in my arms again,good practice though as in 7 weeks time i will be holding my own tiny baby boy,oh gosh!

Cute or WHAT?

Our daughter is the funniest wee chick...I know,every mother say's this but...it's true!.She loves to dress up and entertain us and tonight she found her fairy dress and promptly put it on her head,and sent her dad,mum and bro into a fit of giggles...theirs one in every family i guess.

Learning colours activity

Had abit of waterplay with a twist this afternoon,i added some food colouring into the water...as jasper is at that stage of learning his colours.Both children loved mixing the colours and seeing it magically change:"look,orange!"observed jasper as he watched his sister add red to the yellow,clever monkey.
