The end of summer...hooray!

We popped up to karleen and dave's place today to check out their new house,very nice it is too.My kids were so excited to see patience and ethan and they all ran around the place like mad things.Ruby,being the animal lover that she is,honed straight in on ally,their dog and she also had fun playing in the play house outside while jasper liked the fish,they have the biggest goldfish i've ever seen.

I'm so glad to see the start of autumn tommorow.It has gone down on record as the hottest summer in 30-years in perth,i don't doubt it.

Washing our toys

just doing what kids do...

We have had a busy couple of days getting our garden into ship-shape and the kids have found some new ways of entertaining themselves...playing in the sand with cars,riding in the wheelbarrow and cooling down under the sprinkler.

I don't know why the photos have doubled up but it's double the cuteness!.

I just had to post these couple of pic's of my gorgeous girl,it was very early this morning but just look at that smile and those teeth!!.She is wearing Pyjamas that granny linley sent ages ago but which were always too big and which are still a smidge too big but she looks so cute in them.

Dave had a nice birthday,unfortunately it was a workday but he still got chocolate cake and a golf bag from me so he was happy!.Tonight we left the kids with our niece's Kyla and katy and went off to the movies,we saw The Bucket List which was a perfect feel-good film.

yoga for 2

We got a couple of new dvds out from the good old library,my kids get so bored so quickly with dvds and toy's and things so it's necesary to have a change every once in awhile.The kids got hi-5 and a baby einstein dvd(which is the first dvd that i've seen ruby actually sit the entire way through).And for mummy,a pregnancy yoga dvd.

Jasper joined me for some yoga moves this afternoon which was very cute.(see photos below).

We went for a stunning walk this morning in the cool breeze.I wanted to check out the local YMCA for this years programes and they have some great classes for kids.So,every wednesday from now on we will pop along to the gym class(involves lots of dance and movement which jas will love)and then from april onwards jasper will attend the thriving three's creche(two hours on wednesday afternoons).
All is well in team doylie.I felt bub's move for the first time on saturday morning,always a thrilling moment.I am feeling great and everyday i count my blessings.

Rain dance!

We finally had some rain this afternoon and we were so happy that we all did a rain dance in our backyard!,our neighbour saw us and must think we are abit crazy!.later,it really bucketed down which was great.

I have not written in a few day's because we have been doing nothing...it has been so hot!,one of the hottest summers i have ever experienced.Anyway,i did catch up with rose today which was nice,her brood all started at their new school today which is like 5-minutes walk for the kids from home to school,also easier for their mum who is working out of home now,too.
I also had a chat to my dad on the phone this afternoon and i told him to take it easier as he has been working,digging and stuff,in his backyard all weekend.He has just had a birthday too on the 2nd feb and is 63 now...no spring chicken anymore..heehee.
We also recieved a lovely pair of baby socks in the post today from aunty heather and uncle craig.They have just five-weeks untill their baby is born...we are all so excited for them!.And we are so looking forward to seeing them all aswell as the rest of the family in south africa in december.
