New playgroup.

We went along to the playgroup at the school and i was very impressed.The outdoor equipment was great,and their was lots of crafty things to do.Ruby was exhausting!,she was into everything...she liked climbing on the ladders outside especially.Jasper spent most of the session inside at the craft table glueing,he also liked the playdough.Next week santa is visiting apparently...that time of year again folks.

Little gems

At the park this morning i met a woman called Jo and with her was her little daughter and her friend,well,their names were Jade and amethyst.So we had a ruby,jasper,jade and amethyst!,they all happily played together.Then they left to go and vist their friend called amber!.Quite funny.
Jo told me about the wednesday morning playgroup just next to the school and just minutes from our house and it is free!,so we will definately pop along to that this week.

Ouch!

Funstation

Spent the morning at funstation,we met up with rose + karleen and their kids.The adults were able to relax(for once!)while the kids ran wild.Jasper and ethan were typical boys...on the bouncy castle they were headbutting the walls and then falling down in mock-groaning noises!,ethan cracking me up when he grabbed his crotch in"pain"(gee,I wonder which wrestling match he's been watching!!).Ruby went on the little train twice,once by herself but she did not crack a smile,she was concentrating i guess!?
Then,i dragged my reluctant 2 little darlings outside into the 30+heat,only to have ruby fall flat on her face in her stroller.Boy,did i feel BAD.See above photo for the damage.

A day in the life of ruby .D

Ruby's favorite things in the world right now are:being outdoors,sitting on her bro's bike which is way too big for her and crying untill daddy or i come along and push her!,climbing and going down slides fast!,playing with the cat,shoes!,dressing up and being a mummy's girl.
This morning i found her outside in amongst the trees out in the backyard(her and jas love to hide in there),she was facinated with watching tom(our cat)up in the tree hunting birds,she had a lovely old time.Later we met up with my friend nicole +her 2 cute kids Logan and baby sophie,at the park.The kids had a great time and so did the adults!.

Jasper is toilet trained,yey!.One less child in nappies!.He is so proud of himself when he goes potty and will yell out to us "I did it!",we give him heaps of praise too.

A scorcher

A scorcher of a weekend here so the kids spent alot of time in their paddling pool,we gave them lots of drinks and kept them indoors too alot as it is just too hot.Dave + I paced ourselves too as we had to clean the house for a house inspection on monday(Oh,for a place of our own...one day).

What have we been up to ?

We went to the Red bull air race in perth in the weekend.There were alot of people so we headed up to kings park to watch.It was amazing to watch those aircraft twist+turn and plunge thru the sky.We did not stay long as per usual the kids get too restless.Jas took a nasty tumble off a monument and so now has a couple of grazes and bruises on his face.Sunday afternoon was spent at andrew+roses',we had a very relaxed catching up bbq(everyones so busy nowadays with new jobs and stuff).
The kids are great.Jasper loves anything to do with fireman Sam!.He can count to three now and will say"one,two,three...SIX!!"(except it's in an aussie SIX),he is learning his colours aswell and is trying to dress himself!.Ruby can say about 12 words:eg"birdy,sam,wee-wees,mine,"etc.We recently cut her hair for the first time and now we can see her cute little face properly.
So yeah,all his splendid in our little team doylie...Ok,so now I've written my blog it's time for you other slackers to update your blogs,you know who you are!!
