We made the most of the public holiday and spent some time swimming at the beach this morning,the water was so warm and lovely,but when dave said he just saw a jelly fish i stayed closer to shore!.The kids played with another little boy nearby and just were happy to be out in the sunshine.

high-5!

We went by train again into the city to take the kids to see High-5,it was at the convention centre which was also holding a big art exhibition so,we popped along to see that aswell before the show began.The show was good and fun and noisy(as you can expect with hundreds of excited kids packed into a theater!),jasper and ruby were so excited at the start and were clapping and dancing along with the rest but 40-minutes into it and both kids were too restless and losing concentration(and there was still another hour to go!So,we headed back home on the train, all exhausted.

Oh well,technical hitch sorted!Thanks to rose,shanley and craig!!.It turned out to be a ridiculously simple problem which i won't go into...shame!
so,we are back!You can't get rid of us that easily!.
We are going for a 14-week scan tommorow afternoon,that will be good.

a dilemma

We have a dilemma that could very well see the end of our blog,and we would appreciate anyones advice on this problem as we are not computer boffins!,all i know how to do is write my blog and check my e-mails!.Here goes,basically our blog won't allow us to upload photos anymore?.I have tryed deleting some of our old photos and have even tryed setting up a new blog(but could not post photos onto that either).
Help!.

It is ridiculously hot here,day after day and we have not had any rain for ages,i am suffering.
Dwayne,our fish,died too!

I really enjoy writing the blog and keeping our family+friends informed on the kids life and a blog without photos is just not very interesting for me or for you.So,peoples any tips would be much appreciated.

New pet's

My friend nicole returned rabbi to us this morning ,I thought we had lost the wretched thing but it was left at nicoles,as you can imagine jasper was very pleased as his best companion was back.Later,we dropped the kids off at aunty's so that dave+I could go to the doctors and have a check on my pregnancy.We left not feeling alot wiser,the doctor couldn't pick up the heartbeat.That's why it will be good to have a scan next friday.
After we picked the kids up we went to port kennedy pet shop and picked a couple of goldfish to take home(rose and aj very kindly gave us their former fishtank as they no longer used it),so now we have two fish.The smaller one with silver on it's tum is mertle and the orange one is dwayne!.Unfortunately the lady at the fish shop gave us an unhealthy fish as we don't think dwayne is going to live much longer.

haircut

Jasper had a haircut today,he had abit of a mop there!.Ruby was fine in the hairdressers as she had a toy to play with and she also climbed on the ride outside the door but after,when i had to pop into the supermarket she lost it again.Grief!!.I refuse to go to anymore malls with our youngest!!.

Mega tantys!!

We popped over to nicole's today to catch up.Her children logan and sophie are little darlings.Another friend Mandy and her little girl dayna,also joined us.Jasper was grinning from ear to ear as he had all logan's toys to play with.Ruby liked the neat cubby house and enjoyed herself(although you would not think it judging by her expression in the photo below).Speaking of my little "angel" she is throwing horrible tantrums lately,it's getting to the stage where i hate taking her to the shops because within minutes of arriving she starts up,and loudly and does not stop untill we are out of the shops!,it's mega embarrising.I've never known such a determined child!?!

Back to normal

Well,it is all back to normal around here after the holidays,it always sux when davie goes back to work but that's life 'aint it!.We have been easing ourselves into 2008 and i must say it looks to be a very good year for a lot of people i know,alot of big changes for some especially.
Maddisyn-rose popped around this morning for awhile with her mum.she is very good company for my two littlies,ruby adores her and you will often find maddy carrying madame ruby around in her all of six-year-old arms!.Maddy+Jasper had a lovely play,they both drew a picture together and ran around in the backyard,and rode the rocking horse together.It's awesome that my kids are so close to their cousins.

Jasper+ roo hung out with their aunt,uncle and cousins today.jas loves going to their place,especially playing with all ethan's toys.Then,when i came to pick them up,my brother offered to take jas out with him for the afternoon and as soon as uncle AJ said the magic words "McDonalds" to Jasper,well,jas was keen!.

Arty kids

Apart from going to play at aunty's place this morning the kid's had a quiet day.Jasper it seem's is taking after my arty side of the family,he does some lovely paintings.Today he had fun fingerpainting.Jasper also loves to dance so I would like to enroll him in a littlies dance class at some stage,mindyou he and ruby both need swimming lessons aswell this year and it costs alot to do all these things...anyway,i'm rambling now.
Ruby had a great time this evening "painting" the fence outside with water.

Old McDonald lah de dah...

I took the kids to see some farm animals this morning.They really enjoyed patting and feeding the animals,jasper i think fed every animal in there!.Ruby was here,there and everywhere,she got to pat the white baby goat who was also called ruby.The animal keepers were so friendly and one woman in particular was so kind to ruby,it's refreshing to meet people like that.
We saw a baby snake in our backyard this afternoon,eewww!.I'm never going to get used to it!.mind you the bloody cockroaches you get here are way more horrible than a tiny snake.

Just staying cool...

It has been too hot to do much lately so,we have been staying home and enjoying all our new christmas presents.Thankyou to everyone who sent gifts or christmas cards,the children had a ball opening them all on christmas day.
By the way,jasper slept thru the night with no nappy and was dry this morning.hooray!Our boy is now completely toilet trained...now it's ruby's turn,but there's no rush.

Train to mandurah

We went by train to mandurah this morning,which was very exciting for the kids as they have not been on one before,once in mandurah we rode on a bus to the waterfront and had a lovely walk around,just enjoying the sunshine.We had coffee and the kids had milkshakes at a cafe then we ended up at the fantastic playground on the waterfront,ruby got caught up in the tunnel when another little kid decided to not go any furthur and held up all the kids behind him,quite funny.Jasper loved the giant see-saw as did ruby,aswell as the boat which jasper liked "steering".Fun morning has by all.

Wiggles ride,cats and dogs and avocados too!

Up at the mall this morning the kids had a fun time on the wiggles ride,even when there was no money in it,it's amazing what you can do with kids on very little money.After I took the kids to the pet shop,roo loved the kittens and puppys,jas loved the fish and budgies...we are considering getting him a couple of fish for his third birthday in april.
jas,once again wore no nappy when out,he is very good at letting you know if he needs to go and has had no accidents so far..wahoo!.
Dave arrived home from work today with a big bag of avocados,he and his team trimmed back an avo tree today and we were richly rewarded!.
