We spent the morning of the last day of 2007 on penguin island.We had a nice time,the kids ran everywhere,we watched the blue penguins being fed(the kids made so much noise we had to take them outside!),we had a little dip in the water(so warm and lovely),jas+ ruby enjoyed throwing seaweed in the water,jas accidently hit a woman with it...well,she did walk INFRONT of the boy!?.Jasper kept challenging our patience by running off away from us,into bush etc...so he got a couple of growlings!
We had some lunch in the shade and watched a couple of large skinks explore next to us,i love the variety of creatures you come across here,it's never dull.
Well,that's 2007 over and done with.

Christmas day
Apart from the forty degree heat it was a fun,busy day.We got to the restaurant too early and so had to stand outside for half an hour but once inside we had a delicious lunch and even santa came to vist and give all the kids chocolate(I 'm pretty sure my kids ate candy most of the day).Later this evening we dropped all the kids off with karleens mum(poor lady!)and the adults had a swim...and after a very hot day it was absoulute bliss!.

Only 11 sleeps to go!
This afternoon the kids recieved their gifts from aunty shanz...while i SNEAKILY SNUCK their pressies away to the cuboard the kids had a great time emptying the huge box that the presents came in,we now have packaging from here to the front gate!,but the little people had fun and that's what it's all about.
Shanley also sent us a pop-up uv-shade tent,for the beach...which we intend to use this weekend.Shanley,you ROCK!!

Christmas is coming!
The kids had fun making christmas decorations today,even if ruby went mad on the gold glitter!(and not much else),also i kept having to stop her eating the glue!.I love this time of year because it's all about family but we should all spare a thought and pay a vist to those that are alone this christmas...go on,cheer somebody up!.

We went to the beach...
we went to the beach and i liked racing off ahead,my mum and dad can't keep up and i get into trouble sometimes when i don't listen!.I always like to climb the sand dunes,daddy had to come and find me though and bring me down.I liked building a sand castle and worked really hard on it.
