Going potty

Toilet training has well and truly begun in our house and we are getting there slowly.Dave found a cool little potty which also serves as a little seat, the kids love it.They both get that the wees go in there not that they have done one in there yet.Ah,fun,fun,fun.

Jas has a turn...

Another hot day so i took the kids and we headed to rockingham mall...airconditioning!.I got a really cool pair of shorts and cheap sandels for jasper...the shorts have a maori design on them and jas looks so cute in them.
Ruby's highlight of the outing was having half a banana milkshake to herself!

a fun day

The kids had fun at the park this morning.Ruby went across the swing bridge for the first time, and jasper was so sweet when he tryed to help by putting his arms around her...aawww.jas was full of confidence and was running across the bridge and jumping off everything(he has just the discovered the joys of jumping).
It was a hot day today so this afternoon the kids went nude and had a dip in their little pool and loved it!

ruby conquers the swingbridge!

Look at that concentration...

socialising is tough when your two...13...32!

I took the kids to playgroup today and they had a blast. We hadn't been to this particular tuesday session before and found it had older kids which was great for jas.Jasper spent alot of time just running around, when not in the ride-on's or the sandpit that is...shame,there is a real pecking order with kids and ofcourse the "bigger 4-year-olds" had to give jas alittle shove,i wasn't very impressed and my natural instinct was to swoop my son up and kiss his pouty,teary-eyed face(the mother lion protecting her young+ all that),but i refrained from this and he was quite strong about it all really...such is life, and it's how we learn but don't worry I did let a certain 4-year-old's mother know about the incident!.
Ruby loved the toy pram and the slide. Was interesting to me to see roo naturally move towards the doll corner and jasper go straight to the toy dinosaurs and cars!?,I've always given my kids unisex toys but there you go...ruby is definately much more nurturing EG giving me her doll to cuddle or brushing my hair, one day i even found her pretending to put lip chap on,seriously!!

Yum!,kai time.
