Mugabe's out!!...let's hope he shrivels into oblivion.

At the risk of sounding too political...I was so happy to see this morning in the world news that opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has beat evil-tyrant robert Mugabe in the polls for presidency of Zimbabwe!!Hooray!!,lets hope the situation improves over there now.Zim will always hold a special place in my heart since mine + Dave's stay there in '01,the people, the history, the colours...wow!.

Ok,I promise..no more politics!Well, there's enough power-play in my own house at the mo between my kids!,jasper is bored and wants alot of attention and is driving me nuts so,it is back to playgroups for us.

smooth move

The kids slept in the same room for the first time last night and it all went smoothly, infact their snoring their little heads off together as I write this.Today we moved all jassies toys into his new room and man, have these kids got ALOT of toys!

Also today,I was over-the-moon to find a beautiful bassinette for bubs that only cost me $40..it now sits pride of place in what will soon be his nursery...ONLY 13-WEEKS TO GO NOW!!!.

Speaking of our little "bruiser",i lovingly call him this because he IS SOOOO active and strong,a little boxer in the making.

And in toilet-training news it seems miss Ruby might soon be ready. She keeps taking her nappy off(that was the first sign with jas),criky we are going thru nappies fast tho!.

Anzac Day 2008

Well, once again i did not manage to make a dawn service(such a slacker)but even watching the tv coverage of it all going on across aussie was humbling...and it reminded me just how connected we are,us aussies and kiwis,in our deep respect for the ANZACS.And I 'da know i think it's when they start up those bloody bagpipes...that always get's me.
We spent the day out at Araluen botanic park in the Darling range.Stunning autumn day for it and what a gorgeous place. The kids loved climbing all the rocks, and exploring the little waterfalls and streams everywhere.Ruby insisted on climbing every giant step and there were many of them and tryed keeping up with her brother.jas liked collecting Gumnuts and sticks and things and when he got tired he tryed to ride a mobile scooter!(he loves those things).
Dave and I treated ourselves to GOOD devonshire tea with scones+Jam+cream!!yummo!.

Ruby's 2nd Birthday

Ruby has had a fantastic 2nd birthday!.It started early with lots of presents in mostly pink wrapping paper!.She loved dressing up in fairy-princess outfit and really looked so adorable!,ofcourse she HAD to wear the $2 plastic blue heeled shoes her dad and I bought her...
Soon the cousins arrived and more presents were opened and cake was lit, candles blown out(with abit of help from dad)and cake eaten.Later we drove to secret harbour which is only about 15-minute drive from our house. We went to the Autumn fair and the kids had a ball...ruby's first time on a bouncy castle, bouncy slide AND a kiddie-train,not bad!,she was very confident on all of these activitys. After petting the farm animals and then a quick bite to eat we left and drove down to secret harbour beach, very pretty, one of the best surf beaches in western australia, the kids had a good run around in the fresh air.
Then it was home for a huge sleep...a brilliant day.
