July school holdays

While i'm glad they are over,we did have fun on the recent school holidays...lots of playing at the park,meeting friends,baking and making playdough and even a slumber party--that went relatively smoothly except for one little person who wanted to go home at midnight--and while i did get sick of hearing"I'm Bored!!"I did enjoy not having to make school lunches every morning!
Now they are back at school/kindy and into the swing of term 3 and i have one small,curly haired toddler to toilet train and try to convince to sleep in HIS OWN bed.Wish me luck.

Sunshine boy

Billy is now sleeping in a big bed.And has turned into daddy's boy.He is our little comediene.He keeps us on our toes!.

Disco's and school reports.

My "babies"are growing so fast.They went to their first junior school disco last weekend.It was fun!Jas just never stopped!he circled the room and inbetween roaming would hit the floor to do breakdancing!And he's good too!his dad and I were in hysterics.Our darling girl was abit more shy.She was so happy when she found her little friend Saskia and the two danced(or jumped up and down,holding hands ofcourse!).Billy just danced with whoever payed attention to him!!.
Jasper say's he wants to be a soccor player and an artist when he grows up.Cool.Ruby?A ballerina.Or princess...sigh.I Love them all so much.I just want to hold on tight to there sweetness and innocence.That's why I write this blog.Because it all goes by so quick.My sunshine boy will be two soon...he refuses to sleep in his cot now and we are transitioning him to a bed.And toilet traing has begun,for the last time!!Yeeha!.Changes,changes.It's all good.
Jassies school report/work folder came home today.His teacher's comments read:JASPER IS A QUIET,WELL MANNERED BOY WHO IS PROGRESSING WELL THIS SEMESTER.NEXT SEMESTER I WOULD LIKE TO SEE JASPER WORK ON HIS COMPREHENSION OF BOTH INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO HIM AND OF STORIES READ TO HIM.JASPER FINDS IT HARD TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IF TOO MANY ARE GIVEN AT ONCE.
I am proud of my boy.He Loves school and learning and is doing well.

A happy mother's day

A very happy day.Brunch.Good coffee.3 amazing kids and one fantastic husband.A walk on the beach...oh and gifts made by the kids,which i treasure.I am a very blessed woman.

Kindergarten vist.

Ruby is loving going to kindy twice a week.This afternoon was mummy's vist time and it was so much fun to see just what my darling middle child gets up to at kindy.She is so softly-spoken to her teachers but is the total opposite at home?.It was nice,even if I did feel a giant in her 4-year-old size classroom!.Ruby enjoyed having me there and each child had made their mums a princess crown.Too sweet.The kindy mums are a friendly bunch.There is not quite the same communication between pre-primary parents.(Jasper's year)Both the kids are making so many friends.They all hold hands and the girls hug oneanother and try to kiss the boys(YES,even my daughter!!).They are learning about their world and how it operates.Jasper is learning to write(He came out with a new word this morning:"Go",he can also write "My" and his name.Ruby is learning to write her name.Jasper begins dance class tommorow at school(part of the curriculum).I wish I could be there for that!He loves to dance.They are going to have an end of term social to show off what they have learnt!!Lovely!.
