Week 3...love,love,love....

Billy at 2-and-a-half weeks-old...and smiling!

I am a delight and am so layed back.I cooed and smiled at mummy for the first time yesterday,I am quite clever really.I went to have a checkup with the nurse today and I now measure 53cms and weigh nearlly 8 pounds(7ib15 oz))mummy says I'm abit of a guts and feed alot!.

Day 12...we have been learning how to hold baby and how to feed baby(and yes,that is a doll that ruby is feeding!).

We got to ride in dad's worktruck...

Billy...one week old...

Well,I have to say life isn't too bad on the outside...I have all my needs met,and I am very content.Mummy and daddy think i'm a very chilled wee fella,and are very glad they didn't get a screamer!.Mum is not getting much sleep as I am abit of a nightowl and I refuse to sleep in my bed so,I end up sleeping on mummy...I love that!.I also like boobie...and mummy is finding it quite alot easier to feed me.She says it's because I am quite patient.The grown ups mostly think I look alot like my brother Jasper as a baby,and abit more like my mum's side of the family.
I can sleep through anything during the day...esp my noisy big bro and sis!But,I am used to it as I had 9-months of listening to it!.
Mum and Dad can't wait to show me off to more family and friends...oh well,I am off to sleep abit more now.William.

Ruby's first haircut

I went and had my first haircut today,i did not wiggle about too much,just sucked on a lollypop.mummy and Daddy think i look soooooo cute with my new do.I have to agree.
That baby is still here and I am slowly getting used to the idea,I love to help mummy cuddle baby,feed baby and pat babys head...he does not mind.mummy says he is a very patient baby.Today a different nurse came and weighed baby,mum says billy will soon be back up to his birth weight.

Goodbye Rabbi

Well,Rabbi went missing a couple of weeks ago.Poor Jasper,as that really was his best companion,and it was something he had had since gran Linley gave it to him as a newborn.He is handling it well,just sometimes asks where rabbi is.

Well,ANOTHER rainy day in perth...makes it hard to get out for walks.We are still waiting for labour to start!.I am booked in to be induced this saturday(2nd August)So,we are very excited that we will definately be meeting our son on the weekend.Hooray!!
July has been the longest month of my life!.

Still no baby!!But I had fun dressing up...

Tonight i got mummy to hand me down my 'butterfly wings',fairy crown,pink fairy skirt and pink handbag,and i put it all on and was very happy.Mummy says i am a real girly-girl!.

I love bathtime...

I had the bath all to myself tonight.I had fun washing my baby doll,while mummy washed me...I carefully washed behind babys ears and babys toes.
Speaking of babys,my baby brother is due today but he is not here yet...
maybe he will come tommorow.
